Why This Project Is Needed The current McNab Road Bridge, spanning the C‑14 canal, was last inspected by FDOT on March 31, 2024, and classified as “functionally obsolete.” Located along a major east‑west route established in 1959, the bridge has become a bottleneck for connectivity and safety. Community feedback and engineering studies highlighted the need for updated sidewalks, improved utility infrastructure, drainage upgrades, and better walkability. Project Timeline & Phases Phase 1 – Streetscape Enhancements Start: Mid-July 2025 Duration: ~18 monthsIncludes pedestrian safety upgrades, road resurfacing, ADA-compliant sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and bus shelters.
